Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel doesn't tweet often, but when he does, it usually involves him throwing some "shade" at Will Compton.

Compton, a former Titans linebacker who played under Vrabel in Tennessee in 2018 and 2020, didn't play in 2022 despite being just 33 years old.

On Friday night, Vrabel took a swipe at Compton on Twitter by "congratulating" the former Nebraska linebacker on signing with the Washington Commanders after a "gap year".

It doesn't appear that Compton has actually signed with Washington or any other team, so this was just Vrabel throwing some completely unsolicited shade at his former player on a Friday night.

Classic Vrabel.

Compton, to his credit, took the ribbing in good fun.

If Compton does play in 2023, it would likely be wherever Taylor Lewan plays, that way the duo can continue their "Bussin with the Boys" podcast without logistical issues.
