Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill exited Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens Sunday early with an ankle injury.

After the game, Tannehill was seen leaving the locker room on crutches with no detailed update to follow.

However, head coach Mike Vrabel was able to share some insight on Tannehill's injury during Monday's press conference.

With the Titans entering a bye week, they plan to take a wait-and-see approach with Tannehill before ruling him out moving forward.

It's the same plan they took when Tannehill sprained his ankle one year ago.

"Similar to where they were last year," Vrabel said. "We'll see how it goes. We've got some time before our next game. Ryan will get treatment around the clock. This will be a big week to see how he progresses and then we'll make a decision on his availability next week."

Tannehill was able to play 10 snaps with his ankle injured during Sunday's loss, but after he threw an interception in the third quarter he did not return.

He finished the day completing 8 of 16 passes for 76 yards.

If Tannehill isn't ready to go by Sunday, October 29 against the Atlanta Falcons, then the Titans will turn to backup quarterbacks Malik Willis or Will Levis.
