Hold your breath, Tennessee Titans fans. Per reports, second-year WR Treylon Burks was carted off of the field today during a joint practice with the Minnesota Vikings.

Burks caught a deep touchdown from Tannehill, went to the ground with a left leg injury. He is being carried off.

Burks caught a deep TD pass from Ryan Tannehill and then came up hobbling. The young receiver appeared to be holding the back of his left leg. DeAndre Hopkins and Derrick Henry came over to check on Burks before he left the field. 

A video of the Burks injury from Leighton Glodek from the Vikings facility has started making its way around social media.

I hate playing doctor, but Treylon hurts left leg/knee

As he stumbles to the ground it’s very easy for a knee to buckle with a lot of body weight and force in a bad direction.

It is too early to tell how serious this is, but obviously losing Burks for any amount of time would be killer. 

Burks also battled injuries in 2022, suffering from turf toe and a concussion. In 11 games, Burks collected 33 catches for 444 yards and one TD. Burks was expected to start alongside veteran addition DeAndre Hopkins at WR for the Titans in 2023.
