The Tennessee Titans have a problem on the offensive line. This is not a new revelation, but it's becoming more and more obvious each week.

Against the Chargers in Week 2, the Titans have allowed three sacks and it's not even halftime yet. This is a Charger team that was unable to get a single sack in Week 1.

Due to years of bad luck and bad decisions, the Titans have deep-rooted issues on the offensive line.

Part of the issue for the Titans against the Chargers is the fact that Peter Skoronski is out after undergoing an appendectomy. This is not the team's fault, but having inadequate depth behind the rookie, is the team's fault.

Xavier Newman got the start in place of Skoronski, and things did not go well. For the second quarter, Dillon Radunz came in to replace Newman.

Speaking of Radunz, his failure to develop is a major factor in the offensive line struggles. Radunz was drafted in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft and has only managed to start four games since then. When you spend a second round pick on a player, you're expecting said player to develop into a starter.

Another massive failure was the selection of Isaiah Wilson. Wilson was selected with the No.29 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and has now gone as one of the biggest draft busts of all time. Wilson got into legal trouble, dealt with injuries and suspensions, and is already out of the league after appearing in just one game.

This is why the team is where they currently are. An inability to protect your QB is the quickest way to lose games in the NFL. This is more than just a bad game. This is a systemic issue that does not seem to be improving any time soon.
