The Tennessee Vols are undefeated no more.
In most years, that's a sentence I'm writing in September, but this year, I'm writing it in November after Tennessee's 27-13 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs.
And that alone is a sign of the progress the Vols have made this season under head coach Josh Heupel.
Tennessee got out to an early 3-0 lead after a Georgia fumble, but that's the only lead the Vols would have on the day.
So what went wrong for a Vols offense that couldn't be stopped before Saturday's matchup against the Bulldogs?
Well, it's pretty simple really — Georgia was able to get pressure on quarterback Hendon Hooker.
And they were able to do it with mostly just their defensive line.

Georgia had six sacks on the day and they held the Vols to just 94 total yards rushing.
When you can do that, you can beat this potent Tennessee offense.
For most of the afternoon, Hooker didn't have enough time in the pocket to throw the ball down the field. Georgia's defensive line was able to overpower Tennessee's offensive line — which has played extremely well — all afternoon.
Combine that with Georgia jumping out to a big lead early, and Tennessee's game plan was basically wrecked in the first quarter.
So how concerned should Vol fans be about Tennessee after the Georgia game?
I'd put the concern level near zero. No, it wasn't a great performance by Tennessee. And it wasn't Heupel's best coaching effort of the season.
But it was also by far the best defense the Vols will face all season. No other team that Tennessee has faced — and they've played some good teams — has even come close to figuring out UT's offense.
The Vols are going to be fine. They'll get back to work this week and fans will see the same Tennessee team they've seen all season next week against Missouri.
UT just ran into a juggernaut today. It happens. The Vols don't have the same talent stockpiled as Georgia. And they don't have the same depth.
This has been a magical season for the Volunteers so far. And they can still win a national championship (their playoff hopes aren't dead and the fact they kept it to two scores against the Bulldogs helps them a bit).
Regardless of the loss, Tennessee still has plenty to play for this season.
