Purdue Boilermakers star wide receiver David Bell officially declared for the 2022 NFL Draft on Wednesday.

Bell is a former four-star recruit from Indianapolis, IN. He's totaled 232 receptions for 2,946 yards and 21 touchdowns during his career at Purdue.

It's unclear at this point if Bell will play in the Music City Bowl against the Tennessee Vols on December 30 in Nashville.

Typically when a player officially declares for the draft, their college career is over. At that point, the player usually doesn't want to risk suffering an injury in a bowl game. However, it hasn't been confirmed whether or not Bell will play against Tennessee.

Earlier this week, Boilermakers defensive end George Karlaftis declared for the draft.

Karlaftis had 14 sacks during his career at Purdue. His bowl game status hasn't been decided either.

If Bell and Karlaftis don't play in the bowl game, it means the Boilermakers will be without their best offensive and defensive players.
