Free agency is less than two weeks away in the NFL, and the Tennessee Titans will have a handful of tough decisions to make.

Here’s a list of the impending free agents who the Titans should re-sign.

This list isn’t exhaustive; in other words, a player not being on this list doesn’t mean the Titans should definitely let that player go. Rather, this list is intended to highlight players the team should make a concerted effort to extend.

OLB Harold Landry

This one is easy.

Landry led the Titans in sacks in 2021 and made his first Pro Bowl. His breakout was a massive factor behind the defense's significant improvement.

Re-signing him won't be cheap, but the Titans can afford it. They're paying very little to the secondary at the moment, meaning they can afford to put more funds into the defensive front.

The Titans' biggest strength in 2021 was their pass rush, led by the talented foursome of Landry, Bud Dupree, Denico Autry and Jeffery Simmons. They should do everything in their power to keep that group together.

It took the Titans four years under Mike Vrabel to get their pass rush to a great level. They should keep it that way.

S Dane Cruikshank

This one has an if behind it.

The Titans should re-sign Dane Cruikshank IF he winds up not getting great offers from other teams.

Tennessee doesn't need to get into a bidding war for Cruikshank, but if he's affordable, they should keep him around.

Cruikshank has a poor injury history, but he broke out in 2021 as a chesspiece the Titans frequently used to shut down opposing tight ends.

He played a great deal of dime linebacker, and he did it well.

Assuming he's not a big enough name to get a deal of more than about $6 million a year, the Titans should keep him around.

WR Marcus Johnson

Johnson was the breakout star of 2021 Training Camp for the Titans. At times, he translated that success to the regular season.

Against the Saints, Johnson turned five catches into 100 yards.

Unfortunately, Johnson never got to sustain that success because of injuries. He missed the start of the Titans' season on injured reserve, and another injury about a month later landed him back on I.R.

He's a good player capable of helping a team score points, but the availability issue is a real concern.

Still, if the Titans can keep him around for a very small sum, nothing more than $2.5 million, they should do it. Their No. 1 goal this offseason should be to add ammunition at receiver, and Johnson isn't a bad weapon to have around.

LS Morgan Cox

Cox was perfect in his first season as the Titans' long-snapper, playing on a one-year contract. They should bring him back.
