The Tennessee Vols are among the top schools for a 2025 four-star wide receiver from Las Vegas according to Rivals.com.

Derek Meadows, a 6-foot-6/185 lb four-star wide receiver from Las Vegas, has the Washington Huskies high on his list, along with Tennessee and Notre Dame.

From Rivals.com: If Washington ends up landing Meadows it could be because of his growing relationship with position coach JaMarcus Shephard because the two hit it off over the weekend when the 2025 four-star receiver was there for the Oregon game. The Las Vegas Bishop Gorman standout has the Huskies, Notre Dame and Tennessee highest in his recruitment now.

Meadows is rated by 247Sports as the No. 9 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 72 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.

It's always tough to land a player from the west coast, but the Vols might have a shot with Meadows because the talented recruit attends the same high school (Bishop Gorman) as former Vols wide receiver Cedric Tillman, who now plays for the Cleveland Browns in the NFL.

That connection won't give Tennessee a major edge — Bishop Gorman churns out plenty of talent — but it could certainly help in their pursuit of Meadows.
