2023 five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava gave Tennessee Vols fans the visual they've been waiting on for nearly a year.
Iamaleava, who committed to the Vols back in March, had a signing ceremony this week in advance of enrolling early this month at Tennessee.
His uncle posted a photo of the ceremony on social media.
Iamaleava, who is also an elite volleyball player, is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 3 quarterback in the nation and the No. 3 overall player in the 2023 recruiting class.
The talented California native will join a quarterback room at Tennessee next season that includes Joe Milton and Tayven Jackson. Milton is expected to win the job, but Iamaleava, with his elite abilities, will have a chance to compete for the job. Getting on campus early and joining the team for bowl practices should allow Iamaleava to at least have a shot to unseat Milton next season.
