The Tennessee Vols are among six programs still in the mix for 2023 five-star offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa.

Mauigoa revealed his top six schools on Saturday and he included Tennessee, along with Alabama, Florida, Hawaii, Miami, and USC.

According to 247Sports, Mauigoa took an unofficial visit to Hawaii recently and he'll take official visits this summer to his other finalists.

Mauigoa, 6-foot-5/330 lbs from American Samoa, is ranked in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 7 overall player in the 2023 recruiting class.

The talented offensive lineman is being heavily recruited to Tennessee by 2023 five-star Vols commit Nico Iamaleava, the No. 3 quarterback in the nation.

Iamaleava's recruiting efforts are apparently paying off — Rivals.com national recruiting director Adam Gorney predicted last week that Tennessee will land Mauigoa.

There's obviously still a long way to go in this battle — USC could be a major threat due to the distance factor — but for now, it appears the Vols are sitting in a good spot for the elite five-star recruit.
