The Tennessee Vols are one of 12 teams still in the mix to land 2025 five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham.
Cunningham included Tennessee in his top 12 on Monday, along with Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and South Carolina.
Cunningham, 6-foot-3/180 lbs from Ackerman, MS, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 2 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of Mississippi. He's also rated as the No. 11 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.
One of the big reasons why Cunningham is considering Tennessee is because of five-star quarterback George MacIntyre, who recently committed to the Vols.
“The Tennessee atmosphere is absolutely crazy," said Cunningham to On3. "They have a good coaching staff and they call me about every day. I would love to play with their quarterback commit George MacIntyre. I love their offensive scheme as well.”
Cunningham told On3 that he likely won't make a decision until close to the early signing period next December, so this is a recruiting battle that will last throughout the summer and into next fall.
