The Tennessee Vols started the weekend with good news when three-star defensive lineman Tyree Weathersby announced his commitment to UT on Friday evening.

On Sunday, the Vols kept the good vibes going when four-star defensive back Cristian Conyer committed to the Vols.

Conyer, 6-foot-2/170 lbs from Bowling Green, KY, is ranked in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 56 cornerback in the nation and the No. 4 player in the state of Kentucky.

The talented athlete committed to the Vols over Kentucky.

And let's just say a Wildcats assistant didn't take it too well.

Kentucky associate head coach/tight ends coach Vince Marrow tweeted a message directed at Tennessee after Conyer's commitment.

"About to enjoy the biggest day of my life," tweeted Morrow. "We will see them dudes in a few months lol. Go Big Blue."

Morrow tweeted that message on his daughter's wedding day, which means the Vols clearly got under his skin by landing Conyer.

A Kentucky superfan, Matt Jones who runs a Wildcats fan blog, also didn't take the news very well. Jones seemingly blamed a NIL deal for Kentucky losing Conyer to Tennessee.

Tennessee traditionally beats Kentucky for recruits, so it's not a shock that Conyer chose the Vols over the Wildcats. The fact that it angered UK's coaching staff is just an added bonus for UT.
