The Tennessee Vols hosted 2024 three-star wide receiver Koby Young on a visit this past weekend.

Young, 5-foot-11/175 lbs from New Orleans, LA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 62 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 9 player in the state of Louisiana.

Young spoke to 247Sports about his visit to Tennessee this past weekend and he pointed out a way that Vols head coach Josh Heupel is different than other head coaches that he's interacted with during visits.

The talented Louisiana native noted that Heupel is the only head coach that's spent the entire day with him and his family.

"I have never had a head coach spend an entire day with me and my family, that was huge," said Young to 247Sports. "Not only was the head coach with us the entire day but I got to spend time with Coach (Kelsey) Pope, the entire staff and their families. That’s love."

I'm sure that's the standard operating procedure for Heupel when it comes to how he interacts with four-star and five-star recruits.

The fact that's how he also treats a three-star recruit shows that Heupel doesn't see recruiting stars when he's interacting with a prospect. Instead, he just treats everyone the same way. That's part of the genuineness that Heupel's been consistently praised for by recruits. And it's one of the reasons why the Vols have built a significant amount of momentum on the recruiting trail in recent weeks.

Tennessee currently has the No. 8 ranked 2024 recruiting class in the nation.
