The Tennessee Vols are one of four programs set to receive an official visit from one of the top 2024 wide receivers in the nation.

According to On3, 2024 four-star wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan will visit Tennessee in mid-June.

The talented recruit will also take official visits to LSU, Ohio State, and Oregon in June.

McClellan, 6-foot/190 lbs from Saint Louis, MO, is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 24 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 5 player in the state of Missouri.

The four-star recruit, who plans to commit before his senior season, told On3 that Tennessee's quarterbacks have been selling him on the Vols.

“I just like how much Tennessee wants me, I talk to Coach Pope a lot, and Jalin Hyatt and Nico Iamaleava and them," said McClellan. "Even the quarterbacks want me to go up there so they have targets to throw to, and I really like that.”

Josh Heupel and his staff have been focusing a decent amount on recruiting in Missouri during the 2024 cycle. Tennessee landed a commitment from 2024 four-star defensive lineman Kellen Lindstrom last week. Lindstrom is the No. 7 player in the state of Missouri.

The Vols are also targeting 2024 five-star defensive lineman Williams Nwaneri, the No. 1 player in the state of Missouri (and the No. 4 overall player in the nation). On3's Chad Simmons recently suggested that Tennessee is the team to beat for Nwaneri.

UT currently has 11 players committed to its 2024 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 10 in the nation.
