Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Harrison Bailey threw a touchdown pass on Thursday night in his first game action with the Louisville Cardinals.
Louisville improved to 2-0 on the young season thanks to their 56-0 win against Murray State.
Bailey, who played at Tennessee from 2020 to 2021 before transferring to UNLV, arrived at Louisville earlier this year. The former Vol is a backup to starting quarterback Jack Plummer.
Louisville played nine quarterbacks in the win. Bailey saw action in the fourth quarter, completing three-of-five passes for 51 yards. The highlight of Bailey's night was a 34-yard touchdown pass to Joey Gatewood.
Bailey's career hasn't gone quite as expected after coming out of high school as a highly rated recruit. But the good news for Bailey is that he still has two years of eligibility remaining after this season (if he chooses to take advantage of his COVID-19 year), so there's still a chance for the former Tennessee quarterback to make a big impact before his college career is over.
