Tennessee Vols redshirt senior tight end Jacob Warren is a sixth-year player who is entering his final season at UT.
Warren elected to return to Tennessee for his final season of eligibility.
On Wednesday, Warren, a Knoxville native, penned an emotional letter to Vol Nation.
Warren detailed his football journey, his growth at Tennessee, and the impact that Josh Heupel and his teammates have had on him during his time at Tennessee.
From UTSports.com: Coach Heup has led this program with respect, kindness and trust. Our team's goals have shifted from when I first got here — from merely making a bowl game to SEC championship dreams, and it was Coach Heupel's approach that transformed this program. It's an honor to be part of this resurgence, to work towards these goals and to make our supporters proud.

Warren closes the letter with words that will undoubtedly make Tennessee fans smile.
"We aim to make you proud, to give you a reason to celebrate on Saturdays and to wear that T with the utmost pride," wrote Warren. "Thank you for being with us every step of the way. Let's make this season one to remember."
Warren may not show up in the box score with gaudy numbers, but he does a lot of things on the field that go unnoticed. Most importantly, Warren has been a key team leader for Tennessee during what was expected to be a dark time for the Vols. It's thanks to players like Warren that Tennessee is now in a position to make some noise nationally and potentially bring a national championship back to Knoxville.
