The Tennessee Vols are the team that's "standing out" early for 2025 four-star wide receiver Dillon Alfred according to Rivals.com

Rivals.com national recruiting director Adam Gorney noted that Alfred, who is originally from Mississippi, is also interested in Auburn. And Ole Miss could be a "team to watch" for Alfred, though for now, it's the Vols that "have the edge" for the talented recruit.

Alfred is scheduled to visit South Carolina this weekend, so it'll be interesting to see if the Gamecocks get into the mix.

Alfred, 5-foot-11/175 lbs from Saraland, AL, is ranked in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 42 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 15 player in the state of Alabama. He's also rated as the No. 281 overall recruit in the 2025 recruiting class.

Tennessee currently has just one player committed to its 2025 recruiting class — three-star cornerback Shamar Arnoux from Alpharetta, GA.
