ESPN's Pete Thamel reported on Saturday morning that the Tennessee Vols will be without star wide receiver Cedric Tillman when they take on the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge.

From ESPN:

Tennessee will be without star receiver Cedric Tillman against LSU on Saturday, as sources told ESPN he did not travel to Baton Rouge for the game.

Tillman is still recovering from a high ankle sprain and the subsequent tightrope surgery that was performed on Sept. 20. He's been doing some limited physical activity with the team, according to sources, and ramping up his activity with the hopes of returning next week when No. 1 Alabama visits Knoxville.

Tillman suffered the injury in the Vols' win against Akron last month. He missed the Florida game the following week.

In Tillman's absence, Tennessee will lean on Jalin Hyatt and Ramel Keyton.

Against Florida, Keyton caught three passes for 69 yards, including an impressive diving catch on an important drive before halftime.

Hyatt, meanwhile, is the Vols' leading wide receiver with 23 receptions for 325 yards and three touchdowns.
