The Tennessee Vols are one of the programs to beat for 2023 four-star wide receiver Aidan Mizell.

Tennessee recently made Mizell's top seven, along with Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, USC, and UCF.

Mizell, 6-foot-2/180 lbs from Orlando, FL (Boone), is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 23 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 45 player in the state of Florida.

The talented wide receiver, who also runs track, had a dominant junior season in high school, catching 47 passes for 1,003 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Mizell's speed would make him a great fit in Tennessee's offense, which is one of the main reasons he's considering the Vols.

“I was just talking to coach (Kelsey) Pope and coach (Alex) Golesh yesterday. I have a great relationship with their staff and with coach (Josh) Heupel," said Mizell this week to Rivals.com. "Tennessee is on the come up. Their scheme fits me, and they are throwing it almost every play. They have a great system for a receiver.”

Mizell is set to take an unofficial visit to Tennessee next week. That visit should determine whether or not the Vols are a serious contender for the Florida native. There's no doubt that Mizell would be a great pickup for Tennessee. The Vols need as many playmakers as they can get and Mizell would certainly make the offense better.
