2024 four-star cornerback Kaleb Beasley, a Tennessee Vols commit, recently told GoVols247 that he's shutting down his recruitment.

Beasley has been solidly committed to the Vols since last October, but there was some concern that another program could swoop in and steal the talented cornerback from UT.

Fortunately for Tennessee, it appears that won't be the case. And that's great news for the Vols. Not only does Beasley fill a key need, but he's also the No. 1 player in state of Tennessee. Losing Beasley to another program would've been a devastating loss for the Volunteers.

Beasley, who will be a senior in high school this fall, was so impressive as a junior in 2022 that he was recently named the 2022 defensive player of the year by The Tennessean.

Beasley, 6-foot/185 lbs from Nashville, TN, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 13 cornerback in the nation and the No. 140 overall player in the 2024 recruiting class.

The four-star cornerback is the third highest rated player that's currently committed to Tennessee's 2024 recruiting class.
