Tennessee Vols fans have heard all offseason from draft analysts and anonymous coaches about how Josh Heupel's offense doesn't prepare wide receivers for the NFL.

The narrative is that wide receivers leave Tennessee without the ability to run NFL routes.

On Thursday night, former Vols wide receiver Cedric Tillman totally destroyed that narrative.

Tillman, who was selected in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, was widely praised on Thursday night for a route that he ran to perfection in a preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The official NFL Twitter account even sent a tweet that specifically praised the way Tillman ran his route.

That's basically a free recruiting pitch from the NFL for Tennessee.

Maybe this will finally put an end to the nonsensical takes about wide receivers who played under Heupel.
