There's one common physical concern for quarterbacks that scouts won't have to worry about when it comes to Tennessee Vols standout Hendon Hooker.

It seems like every year during the draft process — usually at the NFL combine or a Pro Day — there's a big fuss about a quarterback's hand size.

In 2020, the media talked about former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow's hands, which measured just nine inches, for nearly a week.

Burrow eventually responded to the madness with a hilarious tweet that jokingly insinuated that he was retiring because of his hands.

Last year, it was former Pittsburgh Panthers quarterback Kenny Pickett that had his hand size scrutinized.

Pickett's hands measured 8.5 inches which led to questions about whether or not he could hold onto the ball in bad weather conditions.

Hooker, who won't be able to participate in drills at the combine because of his torn ACL, won't have to worry about any hand-size questions.

That's because Hooker had his hands measured this past week at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL.

Hooker's hand measurement of 10 4/8 inches won't be questioned at all. That would put Hooker near the top of the NFL in hand size (Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had the largest hands in the NFL at 10 7/8 inches).

I'm sure Hooker will face plenty of questions from front offices — as all quarterbacks do this time of year. But hand size, something completely out of a quarterback's control, won't be one of the things that scouts question when it comes to Hooker.
