Seven players on the Tennessee Titans' 53-man roster have been made inactive for the team's Week 3 matchup with the Cleveland Browns. They will not be in uniform and will not play on Sunday.
Peter Skoronski is out because of an appendectomy he had last week, but wide receiver Colton Dowell and outside linebacker Caleb Murphy are two examples of healthy scratches.
Here's a full look at Tennessee's inactivates for Week 3 in Cleveland.
– OL Peter Skoronski (abdomen)
– OLB Caleb Murphy (healthy)
– QB Will Levis*** (healthy)
– DB Kindle Vildor (healthy)
– OLB Trevis Gipson (healthy)
– WR Colton Dowell (healthy)
– OL Jaelyn Duncan (healthy)
*** = Emergency third quarterback. Will dress for the game.
Malik Willis will once again serve as the backup quarterback for Ryan Tannehill on Sunday with Levis landing on the inactive list.
DL Jaleel Johnson and OT Justin Murray both received standard elevations from the practice squad prior to the game. They will both be active on Sunday.
DB Anthony Kendall and DL Denico Autry were both listed as as questionable on the Titans' final injury report for the week, but after testing out their injuries before the game, both are ready to go on Sunday.
WR DeAndre Hopkins is expected to play through his ankle injury and remain active for the second consecutive week. Last week, Hopkins had four catches for 40 yards. WR Kearis Jackson, however, was placed on Injured Reserve earlier this week with an ankle injury and will miss at least four games.
Mason Kinsey has been signed to the 53-man roster to replace Jackson and will act as the punt returner in Cleveland.
The Titans (1-1) and Browns (1-1) kickoff at 12:00 p.m. CST from FirstEnergy Stadium. The game is available for viewing on CBS.
