The Tennessee Titans' chances at revenge against the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend just got another boost.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Bengals star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is OUT for Sunday's game against the Titans.

Chase, who has been dealing with a hip injury, was hoping to return this week after missing Cincinnati's last three games.

Chase wouldn't have been a full strength even if he was able to suit up this weekend. But he's still a guy that commands extra attention anytime he's on the field — regardless of whether or not he's 100 percent.

Without Chase in the mix, the Titans' defensive game plan should be a bit easier to implement as Tennessee can narrow their focus to Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd in the passing game (along with tight end Hayden Hurst).

The Bengals will also be without running back Joe Mixon on Sunday against the Titans. Mixon was ruled out earlier this week as he's dealing with a concussion.
