The Tennessee Titans suffered an inexplicable amount of injuries for the second straight season in 2022. With the Titans’ season cut short before the playoffs, some of those injured players are making strides in the recovery process.
Titans defensive back Chris Jackson is one of them. Jackson suffered a knee injury in the Titans’ preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens. He made a return in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills, but left the game due to a foot injury, landing Jackson on injured reserve for the remainder of the season.

Jackson seems to be on the right track after posting to his Instagram story on Friday. In the video, Jackson can be seen sprinting full speed in the Titans’ practice bubble. The captions indicated that his speed was clocked at 20 miles per hour just three months after undergoing surgery.
Jackson, 25, made just one tackle in his third season in the NFL. The Titans’ seventh-round pick in 2019 has carved out a role for himself as a rotational piece in the secondary.
He has appeared in 24 games, starting in six, totaling 59 tackles, five passes defensed, and one tackle for loss. Jackson is on the Titans' books for the 2023 season, when he is set to earn just north of $1 million dollars, per Spotrac.
