The Tenessee Titans are on the search for a new general manager.
Jon Robinson was fired late in the regular season. The Titans aren't rushing themselves into a new leader in the front office, either.
Accordingly, some of their top candidates may get scooped up before Tennessee chooses them. The NFL off-season goes that way.
Today, one of the most popular candidates landed the Arizona Cardinals' GM job.
Monti Ossenfort, the now former Titans Director of Player Personnel, is headed to the Cardinals.
That Titans had shown some interest in potentially elevating Ossenfort to the GM role. That being said, it didn't come to fruition in time.
Ossenfort's first major task will be hiring a new head coach in Arizona. Sean Payton is a potential candidate, but they will conduct plenty of interviews with candidates over the next couple of weeks.
It'll be quite a massive decision to open Ossenfort's new campaign.
There are now no other GM openings in the NFL. The Titans will have their choice of anyone that is available with no competition.
Tennessee will look elsewhere to try to fill the positional void left by Robinson's firing.
