NASHVILLE — The Mayor of Murfreesboro has spoken. Tennessee Titans safety Kevin Byard is calling for the team to bring back the team's old home uniforms as a throwback.

Byard replied to a post for the official Titans account on X that pictured Byard in the road white uniforms with baby blue pants that first debuted in 2006.

"That’s more like it!! Would love to retro these jersey soon," the Titans' veteran safety wrote.

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I totally agree with Byard here. These jerseys are clean and far superior to the Titans' current white jersey combo.

I know, I know…they reek of early 2000s fashion. But that's what I love about them. That shade of baby blue makes those pants hit a little different.

It might be time for the Titans to channel the era of Chris Johnson, Vince Young, and Albert Haynesworth. They're no Oilers throwbacks, but Tennessee should listen to Byard and bring them back!
