NASHVILLE — Prior to Sunday's season opener against the New Orleans Saints, the Tennessee Titans have elevated two players from their practice squad to the active roster.

Offensive tackle Justin Murray and defensive lineman Kyle Peko have both received standard elevations from the the practice squad.

Murray and Peko will suit up and be two of the 46 players active for Tennessee in Week 1, but will revert back to the practice squad after the game. Players can receive standard elevations for up to three regular season games before they are required to be added to the 53-man roster.

Murray is an NFL veteran with 37 games played and 20 career NFL starts. All 20 of those came with the Arizona Cardinals from 2019-2021. After signing with the Titans and competing well throughout training camp, Murray was the odd man out after Dillon Radunz returned from injury, but was brought back on the practice squad following his release. With Radunz questionable for Sunday, Murray will now be active for Tennessee.

Peko is in his second stint with the Titans. Back in 2021, Peko played in eight games and recorded two sacks with Tennessee. He then spent the 2022 season with the Las Vegas Raiders before signing back with the Titans a few weeks into 2023 training camp.

The Titans and Saints will kickoff their respective 2023 campaigns from the Caesers Superdome at 12 p.m. CST on Sunday.
