The long awaited Houston Oilers throwback jersey appear to finally be on their way.

Earlier this offseason, the Tennessee Titans announced the team's plans to wear a throwback Oilers uniform for one home game during the 2023 season. Of course, this is nothing we haven’t heard before.

But after the teams dropped a tease on Twitter, it now looks as though Oilers uniforms will finally return in 2023.

Shades of Earl Campbell, Warren Moon, Elvin Bethea, and Bruce Matthews will be back in Nissan Stadium this fall.

Here’s a look at the teaser featured on the team's Twitter page:

These jerseys are way too clean to not have in the regular uniform rotation. The Titans should try and bring them back for one game every year. Perhaps they could wear them for the same home game that they invite former players to attend and have a reunion in Nashville.

Bonus points if it's against the Texans.
