Tennessee Titans rookie WR Kyle Philips has been making waves all summer with his impressive play in training camp.
Philips, a fifth round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of UCLA, first won over the Titans coaching staff with his precise route running and dependability. That hype quickly caught traction with Titans media and Titans fans, and now the Kyle Philips fan club has extended to the national media circuit.
On Tuesday's edition of Good Morning Football on NFL Network, NFL analyst and host Peter Schrager named Philips one of his top five "rookie riser" wide receivers heading into the 2022 season.
Here's the segment and a look at what Schrager had to say about the Titans rookie:
"Kyle Philips has been a sensation for the Titans," Schrager said, as he clamored over Philips' nice punt return against the Buccaneers on Saturday.
Schrager also showed off Philips putting on a nifty move on former Titans defensive back Logan Ryan during joint practices last week. And may I just shoutout what a high quality video it was, too…

The Kyle Philips hype has officially reached an all-time high, and rightfully so.
The rookie has worked his way into likely being a starter in the Titans offense despite being a fifth round pick. That doesn't happen often.
During Titans practice on Sunday, Mike Vrabel called for the "best two" on both offense and defense for a goal line 2-on-2 drill with a set of pushups on the line for the losers.
While the Titans defense chose All-Pro safety Kevin Byard and number one cornerback Kristian Fulton, the Titans offense went with the veteran receiver Robert Woods and, you guessed it, Kyle Philips.
That tells you everything you need to know.
The man that Mike Vrabel said "goes rabbit hunting with a hammer" may be just getting started on his rise to NFL stardom. Certainly, he has a long way to go, but for now, all signs point to Kyle Philips being the real deal.
It seems like the NFL world is starting to believe that too.
