NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with veteran safety Jamal Adams on a one-year contract over the weekend.

The deal is for a total of $1.292 million with $985,000 guaranteed and a $167,500 signing bonus (via OverTheCap.com).

That figure is just over league minimum and presents little risk to the Titans in the signing. It also gives Tennessee a good chunk of salary cap space that could still be used.

According to OverTheCap.com, the Titans still have $24.15 million in remaining cap space. That is the 11th most in the NFL.

There is room for more additions during training camp if Ran Carthon and company are not done adding to this roster.

Tennessee could always make a move for anther safety, an edge rusher, or depth on the offensive line. None of those would surprise me. I'd also like to see a contract extension with DeAndre Hopkins get done.
