Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Cedric Tillman was selected in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns.

One of the big reasons why Cleveland selected Tillman in the third round is his ability to make 50/50 catches on jump balls, something he did often at Tennessee.

"I think Cedric does possess those dominant traits, size, ability to go get the football," said Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski after Cleveland drafted Tillman.

On Wednesday morning, Tillman showed off his ability to "go get the football". The former Tennessee wide receiver made an impressive contested catch on a pass from starting quarterback Deshaun Watson.

That's exactly what Cleveland is hoping to see from Tillman in 2023.

It's unclear what kind of role Tillman will play for the Browns this fall, but the fact that he's getting reps with Watson is a certainly a good sign for the former Vol.

Something else that's a good sign for Tillman is that Cleveland views him as an extremely "coachable" player.

Tillman obviously still has a lot of work to do to as a rookie. But he appears poised to make an impact for the Browns in 2023.
