According to a report from ESPN's Pete Thamel, Tennessee Vols wide receiver Cedric Tillman has practiced at "full speed" all week and has been cleared to play against the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday night.

Tillman, the leading returning wide receiver in the SEC entering the 2022 season, hasn't played since suffering an ankle sprain against Arkon in mid-September.

Tillman originally hoped to return for the Alabama game earlier this month, but his recovery wasn't far enough along at that point for the star wide receiver to return to the field.

With the Vols playing UT-Martin last weekend, there was no need to play Tillman and risk further injury.

After the news of Tillman's return broke, the former three-star wide receiver took to Instagram to also announce his return and remind fans that they get free cookies if he catches two touchdowns against Kentucky.

Tillman took over the role of the Moonshine Mountain Cookie spokesman this season from former Vols defensive back Alontae Taylor.

Entering the season, two touchdowns in a game didn't seem like a big deal for Tillman.

But now that wide receiver Jalin Hyatt has turned into a touchdown machine (seven touchdowns in his last six quarters of play), Tillman might have trouble finding the end zone more than one time on Saturday night.

Of course, with this offense, it's possible Hyatt and Tillman could both end the night with multiple touchdowns.
