After winning the Biletnikoff Award on Thursday night, Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt was asked about his favorite moment of the season.

Hyatt, who finished the season with 15 receiving touchdowns, had plenty of memorable moments in 2022.

But his favorite moment came against Alabama.

During a virtual media session on Thursday night, Hyatt told reporters that his fifth touchdown against Alabama — which tied the game — was his favorite moment of the season.

"My fifth touchdown against Bama, I think, was one of my favorites," said Hyatt. "Just because as far as the playcalling, I knew it was coming to me….we had no routes on the outside — it was just a one-man route."

"I knew if we got that, we'd tie it up and have a chance," added Hyatt. "Just looking at their leverage, how they were playing it. I knew we had a chance. Hook (QB Hendon Hooker) threw a perfect ball and [I] obviously came down with it. I think that was the biggest moment, my favorite moment, just seeing how the crowd reacted. Just seeing Vol nation and how they erupted everything after that play. That was my favorite for sure."

The fourth quarter of the Tennessee/Alabama game was about as intense as it gets. But thanks in part to Hyatt, the Vols were able to beat hold off the Crimson Tide and get their first win against Bama since 2006.
