2021 three-star offensive tackle William Griffin is in Knoxville this weekend visiting the Tennessee Vols.
Griffin, 6-foot-6/325 lbs from Nashville, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 12 player in the state of Tennessee and the No. 45 offensive tackle in the nation.
In addition to his offer from the Vols, Griffin also has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma and South Carolina, among several others.
Griffin, who was high school teammates with current Vol Elijah Simmons, told Rivals last summer that Tennessee is "one of the favorites", adding "they care about you as a person and athlete".
The Vols have made "owning the state" a priority. And Griffin, a likely future four-star recruit, is a player they definitely need to land in their 2021 recruiting class.
