One of the Tennessee Vols' 2026 recruiting targets announced his commitment date this week.

Despite only being a (rising) junior in high school, 2026 four-star defensive end Katrell Webb plans to announce his commitment on November 21 (which is Webb's birthday).

Webb, 6-foot-4/240 lbs from Suwanee, GA, is rated by Rivals.com as the No. 89 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 10 player in the state of Georgia.

Auburn, Clemson, and Georgia, along with Tennessee, are some of the programs in the mix early for Webb.

"I love my connection with Tennessee right now," said Webb to Rivals.com this week. "I can get on the phone with them and talk every day and it doesn’t even have to be about ball. I camped with the Tennessee last year and really impressed them as a freshman. Coach Robert (Ayers) is definitely one of my favorite coaches so I can't wait to get up there and work with him. Tennessee is also one of the schools I grew up watching."

Webb attends Collins Hill High School which is the same high school that current Vols tight end Ethan Davis, a rising junior, attended.

Tennessee does not currently have any players committed to its 2026 recruiting class.
