If San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings is on the football field, there's a decent chance a scuffle of some sort will ensue.
So it should be no surprise that Jennings, a former Tennessee Vols standout, has already been involved in a scuffle with a teammate at 49ers training camp.
Jennings and cornerback Deommodore Lenoir had a bit of a run-in late last week.
Lenoir was asked about the scuffle with Jennings and he offered a hilarious response.
"That's just how we greet each other," said Lenoir. "That was our first day being able to see each other full tilt. Of course we weren't in pads, but that's just how we greet each other."
Jennings and Lenoir have been teammates for four seasons in San Francisco. I'm sure they've had a few dustups during practice over the years. .
And there's nothing wrong with those dustups — it just means players are competing hard at practice.
