2025 five-star quarterback George MacIntyre, a Tennessee Vols commit, is trying to help UT Football make a major recruiting splash this weekend.
MacIntyre will be at Tennessee for a visit this weekend and he'll be joined by 2025 five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench.
Ffrench, 6-foot-1/185 lbs from Jacksonville, FL, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 3 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 16 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.
This is the second straight weekend that Ffrench is making a high profile visit with an elite five-star quarterback.
Last weekend, Ffrench visited LSU along with five-star Tigers quarterback commit Bryce Underwood.
“It (Underwood being there for the visit) was a big impact on the LSU visit,” said Ffrench to On3 this past week. “It was very eye-opening with him there. They really laid it all out and focused on the future.”
“No doubt the visit definitely helped it a lot,” added Ffrench of his visit to Baton Rouge. “Moved up a lot in my top schools and also made things easier by coming again for OV to get a better look.”
Rivals.com national recruiting director Adam Gorney noted this week that it's Ohio State that's currently viewed as the leader for Ffrench. But LSU and Tennessee are making a strong push this month for the elite five-star wide receiver.
After this round of visits, we should have a much better idea of Tennessee's chances to win this recruiting battle. One great visit can change everything in a recruitment. And that's certainly what MacIntyre and the Vols are hoping for this weekend when it comes to Ffrench's recruitment.
