Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe made a comment about the Tennessee Vols while speaking to reporters that went semi-viral on Monday.

Milroe was asked about the Vols' ability to get after the quarterback and what the key will be to getting on the same page with his offensive line on Saturday when Alabama takes on Tennessee in Tuscaloosa.

Here's the tweet that went viral with Milroe's response.

That tweet looks like Milroe is talking trash. But that really wasn't the case.

Here's the full quote.

"We're going to have a lot of fun," said Milroe. "We don't care about none of that. It's just another opportunity for us to have fun. We get to play in front of our fans this weekend, so we're excited for that. A lot of energy will be in the air with playing a great opponent. It's going to be a lot of fun this weekend so we're looking forward to the challenge."

You can watch his response at the 3:00 mark of the video below.

Milroe is basically saying that Alabama can't worry about Tennessee's defensive line and make it the focus of the week. Ultimately, the players on both sides of the ball signed with their respective schools to play in games like this. It's supposed to be fun. It's why you start playing spots as a kid. Both sides have to prepare for each other. But both sides should be taking in the experience, too. Not many people on this planet get to play in an Alabama vs Tennessee game.

If Milroe and his teammates spend all week worried about Tennessee's pass rush, they'll be seeing ghosts out there on Saturday. They know the situation. They know the Vols can get after the quarterback. But the more a player is on the field thinking, the more likely it is that mistakes will happen.

After watching Milroe's entire press conference, it's clear that he's not a kid that's on the podium talking trash.

Now, if Tennessee's players want to use that comment from Milroe as motivation, then I think Vols fans should be all for it. I've always been a believer in making in personal and using whatever you can to gain an edge.

But as far as Milroe's intent, I just don't think he was throwing shade at Tennessee. That comment was more about Alabama's mindset going into the game than talking trash about the Vols.
