The Alabama Crimson Tide are trying to steal a commit from the Tennessee Vols.

2024 four-star cornerback Kaleb Beasley committed to the Vols just six days after Tennessee's win against Alabama this past season.

Beasley, 6-foot/179 lbs from Nashville, TN, is ranked in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 14 cornerback in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of Tennessee.

According to Touchdown Alabama, Beasley has "locked in" an unofficial visit to Alabama on April 10.

Beasley hasn't received an offer yet from Alabama, but that doesn't mean he won't receive one.

The talented defensive back told Touchdown Alabama that the Crimson Tide wanted to check his film out from this past season first.

From Touchdown Alabama: "The main thing is they wanted to watch my film,” Beasley said when asked about Alabama’s interest in him in August. “I think I am performing really well right now, so hopefully I get it soon. They are definitely a great program. Nick Saban is the greatest coach in college football. The DB crew there now is ridiculous. They produce defensive backs, so it is a great school.”

We'll see where this goes with Beasley, but I'd caution fans to not get too worried. Recruiting is fluid. Minds can change at a moment's notice. For now, Beasley is a Tennessee commit.

We'll see if it stays that way. The Vols certainly need a cornerback as talented as Beasley, so this is a guy they definitely don't want to lose — especially to Alabama.
