Florida head coach Billy Napier sent a message to Gators fans on Monday ahead of his team's matchup with the Tennessee Vols in Gainesville this weekend.

Napier reminded Florida fans to wear blue for the blue out in the swamp on Saturday night before also asking fans to make things tough on Tennessee's offense.

"Look, I think what's understood sometimes doesn't need to be said, if that makes sense," said Napier on Monday. "This is Florida-Tennessee. And I think our fan base is pretty well-versed in this one. But we are encouraging our fans to wear blue."

"And look, our fans have an opportunity to contribute to the game," added Napier. "They are truly part of the team. They can impact the game. There's an energy that they provide for our players. But there's also an element where they can make it very difficult for the opponent. It's one of the most iconic and more challenging venues in all of college football. And I anticipate on Saturday night that it will be at its best. And I know our people bring great pride in their role and what they bring to the table."

The Swamp is certainly one of the loudest venues in college football. And there's no doubt it will be rocking for a night game against Tennessee.

UT didn't handle the noise in Athens in their loss to the Bulldogs last season very well. The rowdy crowd contributed to numerous pre snap penalties on Tennessee's offense, which put the Vols in some tough situations to start drives.

Tennessee will need to show improvement in their ability to communicate in a loud environment if they're going to earn their first win in the Swamp since 2003.
