Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt's latest College Football Playoff projection would be a potential nightmare for Tennessee Vols legend Peyton Manning.

Klatt revealed his updated 12-team playoff bracket on Thursday during The Joel Klatt Show. He currently has Tennessee as the No. 8 seed, which means the Vols would host a first round playoff game in Knoxville.

Klatt has Tennessee hosting Penn State in that first round matchup.

The winner of that game would then be set to face the No. 1 overall seed in the quarterfinals. Klatt currently has Texas as the No. 1 seed, which would mean a showdown between Tennessee and Texas in the playoff.

The Vols against the Longhorns would be a potential nightmare for Peyton.

That's because Arch Manning, Peyton's nephew, is currently a quarterback at Texas. Arch has started the last two games (and he looked great) for the Longhorns while starter Quinn Ewers has been sidelined.

Ewers is expected to return for Texas' next game (against Oklahoma on October 12).

Based on Ewers' injury history, it seems somewhat likely that Manning will start again for Texas at some point this season.

How would Peyton Manning handle nephew Arch Manning starting for Texas against Tennessee in a playoff game?

If Arch were to end up being the Longhorns' starting quarterback in a postseason game against Tennessee, it would undoubtedly be an awkward situation for Peyton.

Peyton is as passionate about Tennessee football as anyone on the planet. The former Vol quarterback attends as many Tennessee athletic events as he can (baseball, basketball, football, etc). He might be from Louisiana, and most of his family might be Ole Miss alums, but Peyton bleeds orange.

But family is family. Arch and his uncles (Peyton and Eli) are obviously close. It's hard to imagine Peyton rooting against his brother's (Cooper) son. It's also hard to imagine Peyton rooting against Tennessee. I'm not sure how Peyton would handle this scenario.

Hopefully for Peyton's sake, this isn't how the postseason actually plays out for Tennessee.
