The Greek tradition of plate smashing is one that's most commonly performed at weddings.
So there you go. If you're not familiar with Greek culture, it was probably odd to see Milton dancing around with plates being tossed near him. But it turns out there was a perfectly reasonable explanation for the plate smashing/dancing.
