The Dallas Cowboys have established themselves as one of the very best NFL teams when it comes to the Draft. But that goes well beyond the seven rounds in which franchises take turns selecting eligible players in an organized fashion.

You see, it also translates into the chaotically fast-moving undrafted free agency market that kicks off one second after Mr. Irrelevant is picked. It's then when teams start working the phones with the same intensity of an '80s Wall Street stockbroker.

Loads of guaranteed money and signing bonuses are thrown at players as teams enter bidding wars for their services. Many times, they even make more money than say, a seventh-round draft pick.

The Cowboys have done a great job recently when it comes to UDFA. Terence Steele and Peyton Hendershot arrived in Dallas that way, for example. This year, the front office is already drawing praise for signing one of the best UDFA classes. Per Marcus Mosher, they've signed seven of The Athletic's Dane Brugler's Top 255 players.

Whether or not they'll pan out remains to be seen. The odds are always stacked against a UDFA, after all. They enter the league as the real underdogs. But one thing is true: The Cowboys spent a ton of money on some of these guys.

So much so that they've signed two of the 12 most expensive UDFAs in terms of guaranteed money and signing bonuses, per A to Z Sports' Doug Kyed via data from the NFL Players Association. Let's take a look at each.

OT Earl Bostick, Kansas

Signing bonus: $20,000
Total guarantee: $220,000

Bostick is a converted tight end at 6-foot-6, 309 pounds, and flashed his athleticism with a 5.05-second 40-yard dash. He started at left tackle in 2021 and 2022 and split his time at left and right tackle in 2020.

The Cowboys got themselves a great athlete in Bostick. His testing numbers give him a Relative Athletic Score (0-10) of 9.40, meaning his numbers are in the 94th percentile among NFL tackles. In 2020, the Cowboys carried UDFA Steele on the 53-man roster and he remains a projected starter for the team. We'll see if Bostick has a similar fate.

FB Hunter Luepke, North Dakota State

Signing bonus: $20,000
Total guarantee: $200,000

Luepke, who’s 6-foot-1, 230, was a productive fullback, carrying the ball 98 times for 621 yards with nine rushing touchdowns and catching 14 passes for 196 yards with four touchdowns in 10 games last season. He ran a 4.58-second 40-yard dash at his pro day.

Well, well, well. Fullbacks are back in Dallas. With Mike McCarthy taking over the offense, we knew it was coming. And he might already have his guy in North Dakota State standout Hunter Luepke. He thrived as a running back with the Bison and is set to take on an H-back-type role in Dallas. He's got the pass-catching skills to be a matchup problem in condensed formations and will also be a legitimate rushing threat. At this point, I think it'll be a shock if he isn't on the 53-man roster.
