Elite RB points out what he loves about Tennessee Vols OC Jim Chaney

The Tennessee Vols are taking a page out of Phillip Fulmer's playbook and making North Carolina a priority in recruiting.
Tennessee signed four-star linebacker Quavaris Crouch out of Charlotte during the 2019 recruiting cycle, and they currently have commitments from 2021 three-star running back Jaylen Wright (Durham, NC) and 2021 three-star defensive tackle Isaac Washington (Pilot Mountain, NC).
And there are numerous other 2021 North Carolina natives that UT is hoping to land.
One of those North Carolina natives is four-star running back Kamarro Edmonds, 5-foot-11/200 lbs from Havelock, NC, who recently committed to UNC.
Edmonds is rated by 247Sports as the No. 9 player in the state of North Carolina and the No. 11 running back in the nation.
The dynamic recruit recently discussed his recruitment with Rivals. And his description of Vols offensive coordinator Jim Chaney really stuck out.
Edmonds told Rivals "Coach Chaney is a funny dude, he’s definitely the funniest coach I’ve ever talked to"
The North Carolina native added "We were joking around and bonding a lot. We talked football but we talked a lot about other stuff."
This shouldn't come as a surprise. Chaney can get after players on the field, but he's known for joking around and keeping things light, too.
Edmonds said he also enjoyed with time with UT running backs coach Jay Graham, a fellow North Carolina native.
For now, Edmonds isn't sure if he'll sign during the early signing period (if there is one this year) or wait until the traditional signing day in February.
Edmonds said he plans to visit Tennessee again before making his final decision.
