A talented 2027 four-star recruit says he wants an offer from the Tennessee Vols.
2027 four-star edge rusher Ezkiel Ayangbile told 247Sports this week that he's hoping to get an offer from the Volunteers in the not-so-distant future.
"I love Tennessee," said Ayangbile to 247Sports. "The school itself, I like the school. I feel like I could excel there. I have a friend there, he's a student, and he's been giving me a rundown of what it's like there. He likes it a lot. He gets behind the scenes from his friends there that play ball. The stadium is great too."
Ayangbile, 6-foot-3/263 lbs from Houston, TX, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 12 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 8 player in the state of Texas. He's also rated as the No. 76 overall player in the 2027 recruiting class.
According to 247Sports, Houston, Tulsa, and Virginia Tech are the only programs that have offered Ayangbile. But that will almost certainly change in the coming weeks/months.
Ayangbile's recruitment is poised to heat up soon, and he'll likely be one of the most highly sought after players in the 2027 recruiting class. Tennessee would be wise to go ahead and get in the mix. After all, the talented edge rusher is looking for an offer from the Vols.
