If you were to guess which school threw shade at the Tennessee Vols this past weekend, the Kansas Jayhawks would probably be near the bottom of your list.
But that's exactly the program that tried to embarrass Tennessee on social media this week.
Kansas upset Oklahoma State on Saturday and they celebrated by tearing down the goalposts, a la Tennessee after beating Alabama.
When Tennessee fans tore down the goalposts in Neyland after the win against Alabama, the Vols asked for donations to help replace them.
That request was heavily criticized by opposing fan bases.
Back to the Jayhawks.
Kansas tweeted out a photo of their goalposts with the caption "No GoFundMe needed", an obvious shot at Tennessee.
I love college football because of petty stuff like this. It makes the sport fun during the week while we're all waiting on the games to be played on Saturdays.
However, Kansas probably shouldn't laugh too hard at their own joke. Tennessee raised a significant amount of money by asking for those donations (over $150k). And it's not like anyone forced the fans to donate.
I'd say the Vols' fundraising department deserves to be recognized for its brilliance instead of throwing shade at them.
