A pair of former Tennessee Vols players took a tough off-field loss this week thanks to UT's 19-14 loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks this past weekend.
Former Vols Josh Dobbs and Jauan Jennings, who both play for the San Francisco 49ers, lost a bet to teammate Brandon Allen, a former Arkansas quarterback.
Dobbs and Jennings both had to wear Arkansas hats in the locker room, because of the Vols' loss, while saying "Woo Pig Sooie". After the bet was honored, Dobbs threw the Arkansas hat to the ground.
Former Vols have been winning more of these types of bets than they lose during the Josh Heupel era. But thanks to the NIL era and the NCAA transfer portal, it seems like we're seeing more upsets than ever. And Tennessee was the victim of one of those upsets this past weekend.
The Vols are set to take on Florida this weekend. There are certainly plenty of former Gators in the NFL (including some on the 49ers' roster), so I'm sure we'll see plenty of bets between former Tennessee players and former Florida players this weekend.
