A former Josh Heupel-coached quarterback was one of the best stories of the week in the NFL.

Before Heupel was the head coach of the Tennessee Vols or the UCF Knights, he was the offensive coordinator at Missouri. And Heupel's quarterback at Mizzou was Drew Lock.

Lock, a former second round pick by the Denver Broncos, is in his second season with the Seattle Seahawks.

On Monday night, the Seahawks took on the NFC-leading Philadelphia Eagles. And right up until kickoff it was unclear if Lock or Geno Smith would start at quarterback for Seattle.

Smith was active for the game, but he didn't play due to a groin injury, which led to Lock getting the start.

Lock managed to lead the Seahawks to a surprising win against the Eagles thanks to a 29 yard touchdown pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba with just 28 seconds left in the game.

After the game, Lock delivered one of the best post-game interviews of the season.

What a moment for Lock.

Heupel and Lock still talk often. And I'm sure there was a text or a call from Heupel waiting for Lock after a memorable win on Monday night.
