Former Tennessee Vols baseball coach Tony Vitello couldn’t stay away from Rocky Top for very long.

Vitello was introduced as the new manager of the San Francisco Giants on Thursday.

On Saturday, Vitello was back in Knoxville for Tennessee’s “dark mode” game against the Oklahoma Sooners.

Vitello was spotted walking into Neyland Stadium before the game.

“I’m not going anywhere,” said Vitello to a group of local reporters after he stepped down as Tennessee’s head coach. “So real estate people quit texting me. I’ll figure out what I want to do. But whether it’s football games, basketball games, supporting these guys in some form or fashion, I’m not going anywhere.”

It didn’t take long for Vitello to keep his word.
